A Little about our coach.

Coach Racheal accepts students starting from age 2 and is currently based in Malacca. She has recently moved to Malacca as we are expanding and new programs have been created in our pipeline – such as pre-competitive, Special kids programs, Senior citizens water exercise, water sports, and more…

She’s been the founder of RJ Global Swim Mobile since 2016. With over 20 years of teaching swimming and 11 years full-time, her amazing aura and excellent communication skills make swimmers feel safe in her hands.

Her vision is to partner up with highly trained and experienced coaches, regardless of gender, and she is also creating more value-added services for all registered swimmers. Apart from coaching, she manages everything else that moves within this organization.

Her goal is to get you swimming confidently in under 4 sessions! and or knowing how to float in 5 minutes!

Her mission is to inspire and motivate through great communication.


Coach Nikie accepts students starting from age 5 onwards, and her current locations, which she travels to, are Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. Places such as Damansara, SS2 – Petaling Jaya, and Jalan Ipoh.

She’s a busy bee in the corporate world from Monday to Friday – a marketer as a profession, an ex-national swimmer & other sports. With her passion with water, she decides to pursue teaching. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching swimming (Part-Time) with an active mindset to continuously participate in other water sports or swimming competitions.

She is currently in training for Masters Swimming – Masters swimming is a competitive swimming for swimmers 25 years and older that competes locally & internationally and she has recently participated in a 2 kilometers “Open Swimming Competition” on 21st May 2022, Port Dickson which placed her 2nd and 17th July 2022, Malacca, taking home 1st place.

Nikie is also one of our team leaders who will be leading one of our latest and newest programs – Pre-competitive training.


Coach Michael is our first male superhero in our team. He is based in Simpang Ampat, Penang mainland, and accepts students starting from age 6 onwards. He has been teaching part-time for 3 years while bustling about as a full-time engineer.

He is also currently pursuing MBA in Manufacturing and Production Management. He has a great personality and a wonderful sense of humour. He exercises patience when dealing with younger swimmers, regardless of gender.

He has been teaching part-time with us since he was residing in Selangor. Post-pandemic, our superhero was offered a job in Penang and is very happy to serve our northern swimming community. His main focus of location is Simpang Ampat, Bukit Mertajam, and Butterworth but not limited to Island swimmers. (Depending on distance, please contact us to enquire).

He is currently available only over the weekends for now and the languages he is able to converse is English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese Cantonese & Mandarin.


Coach Celeste has been a sportswoman since the 80’s. Winning multiple medals and representing the state (Perak) for Gimrama. She has been specializing in Triathlon and has participated in multiple events since 2016.

She is a mother of 2 and is living and focusing on areas in the city center – Kuala Lumpur. She had 5 years of swimming training with “Gogetter Triathlon Squad” and is a certified swimming teacher by the Swimming Teacher Association UK (BLS & AED Course and International Swimming Teacher Course)

Celeste is an independent with a positive attitude, aggressive, passionate, and self-motivated. She can teach from age 5 onwards – ranging from safety skills to water confidence and technical strokes and her main focus is pre-competitive swimming training.

She is available from Mondays to Sundays. However, her brilliant capability as a multilingual person has filled up her time slot. They are English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese Cantonese, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Teochew.


Coach Matthew started teaching swimming on the side when he left school in 2006 – It has been over a decade. He then left the corporate world in 2019 to be a full-time Mer-Man…

He was an accountant and decided to venture into diving by owning a dive center up to 2023. He then acquired a certification as a PADI Scuba instructor and, as a co-partner, he managed dive students and diving programs in the center from 2019-2023.

He is also one of our team leaders who will be leading our newest program – Pre-competitive training. He was a state swimmer (Selangor) from year 2002 to 2008 and achieved PADI Scuba instructorship certification in 2022.

Matthew has an extremely adventurous and outgoing personality and he accepts swimmers from age 3 onwards. He’s full of patience and is always smiling. His current locations are Puchong, Subang Saujana, Mont Kiara, TTDI, Kota Kemuning, and Petaling Jaya.

Since he’s a full-time Mer-Man, therefore, his availability is from Mondays to Sundays, and classes will be conducted in either English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Mandarin.


Coach Fai has a total of 11 years of experience teaching. He’s been a full-time coach since 2020 and teaches daily. Here’s an interesting story about teacher Fai… it all starts with his mother as his personal coach and he gained interest in learning only at 9 years of age.

Teacher Fai is extremely patient with the young ones and understands different individuals’ needs, including special needs children. He believes a proper teaching plan, pool safety rules, and a decent teacher-student bond will enhance their learning experience. On top of that, he ensures the importance of having a great communication bond with swimmers’ parents through progression updates – as that can also increase trust, and that’s key to building confidence between loved ones.

Teacher Fai accepts students from 5 years of age up to adults. With his wonderful aura and sense of humor… a “High Five” is his trademark on how his students remembers him.

His current location is Rawang, KL city center, and parts of Petaling Jaya. His classes will be conducted in any of these 4 languages – Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa or & English.


Coach Eric started teaching part-time in 2016, a total of 9 years of experience up to the present day. He has always been teaching on the side while juggling a busy schedule as a Business Development Executive. Eric originates from East Malaysia but settled in the Peninsular. he juggled between Kuala Lumpur and Malacca during his younger days, but finally chose to live in Kuala Lumpur.

HE has been a very active person in his younger days, participating in several different swimming tournaments as well as water sports.

In the years 1996-2000, he was a Malacca state swimmer and a water polo player, while in the year of 1998 and 2000, he participated in the SUKMA games. Eric is a very patient instructor and he accepts students as young as age 4. He understands swimmers’ capabilities and will design a program based on their individual characteristics.

His recent achieement is the Malaysia Open in 2023 and 2024 – bringing home a bronze medal.

The current locations he teaches in are Rawang, KL city centre, and parts of Petaling Jaya. His classes will be conducted in any of these 4 languages – Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa & English.
